Lewis Hamilton Wins The 2008 German Grand Prix

Following the 2008 German Grand Prix, the clear leader in the Formula One standings is Lewis Hamilton. With his victory at the July race in Germany and his previous win in England, Hamilton is four points in the clear. His victory came with some daring passes after a near disaster early in the race.

A crash in a hairpin turn involving Timo Glock required a safety car, which almost cost Hamilton the race. As most teams were in the pit while the safety car was out, the McLaren team kept Lewis Hamilton on the track, giving him a great lead. When he finally had to enter the pit with seventeen laps to go, Hamilton dropped to fifth place. Since he dominated the trials, started in pole position and gained an eleven second lead early in the race, Hamilton couldn’t risk a loss with such an advantage.

Only after squeezing past Ferrari’s Felipe Massa and Renault’s Nelson Piquat Jr. was the McLaren driver able to make up lost ground and capture victory. Massa attempted an outside challenge that almost overtook the eventual winner, but Hamilton held Massa off to earn his eighth victory in twenty-seven races. It was an impressive and highly competitive race, even from the viewpoint of hardcore Formula One fans.

Piquat is somewhat of a novice in the Formula One circuit. Many experts say his lack of driving expertise cost him the race. In the end, he was able to hold off advances by Massa to claim runner up for the Ferrari team. It was Piquat’s first podium victory.

Going into the German Grand Prix, Hamilton was in a three-way tie with Massa and Kimi Raikkonan. After the results of this race, he leads Massa by four points and Raikkonan by seven, though it’s still too early in the season to declare a clear victor. Eight races are left, and the standing could get turned completely upside down by the end of the season. Last year, Raikkonan won the title by a single point, so it could all come down to the last few races.

The next Grand Prix will be held in Hungary, and the McLaren team is excited to build upon the momentum of the last few races. Last season, Hamilton beat Raikkonan in Hungary, so he’s looking forward to a repeat victory. If he can hold off his opponents, he’ll extend his lead even further, since seven races remain in the season after Hungary.

The decision by the McLaren team leaders was risky. Hamilton himself feels that he needed to be directed into the pit by his team while all the other racers were pitted. But his extraordinary driving skill and extraordinarily fast car made up for any team mistakes and brought him one step closer to the Formula One championship.

As long as Hamilton keeps up this pace, he’ll be guaranteed the championship. Last year, he faltered toward the end of the season, and it cost him dearly. Hamilton is too skilled a driver to let late season stress and distraction undo his achievements. Formula One legend Niki Lauda says that if Hamilton continues racing like he did at the German Grand Prix, he’s unbeatable.

Custom Apparel Equals Thousands of Walking Billboards

Custom Apparel Equals Thousands of Walking Billboards

Custom apparel or screen printed apparel is a cost-effective and successful means of advertising or showcasing a business, product or ideal. In fact, it is one of the most popular, effective, and useful promotional products out there.

Although one of the most commonly customized articles of clothing is the good old t-shirt, your custom promotional apparel options are certainly not limited to it. Many companies offer custom screen printing, embroidery and monogramming of baseball caps, shorts, polos, robes, jackets and more.

For years, custom apparel has been a very popular and sought after giveaway product for any and every business. The companies that are really good at creating product awareness even pay people to advertise their product or company for them.

If you’re selecting custom apparel for a promotional giveaway product at a trade show or other event, here are a few things you can do to maximize the effectiveness of your marketing strategy:

1) Know who your target market is. Do whatever market research is necessary, because this is the most important ingredient to a successful marketing campaign of any type.

2) Choose the perfect custom clothing item to fit your market, brand and trade show or other event.

3) Develop a means to deliver your message or sales pitch to your target audience or collect market data during the distribution of your promotional products.

4) Remember to follow-up on the leads that you get. If you don’t, you might as well be donating these tshirts or sweatshirts to charity.

Here are a couple of tips on buying customized clothing for the uninitiated:

1) If you’re looking to utilize customized clothing to uniform your employees, be sure to choose comfortable, quality products which fit your business image and level of professionalism.

2) Consider buying in bulk to save money. Many custom clothing and screen printing companies will charge a set up fee but offer considerable discounts for bulk orders. The savings for ordering in bulk can be quite substantial.

3) If you’re looking to be as cost effective as possible, be flexible about the style and color of the apparel you’re having customized. You may be able to save quite a bit of money by going with a simple white tshirt rather than a colored one. You might also consider a poly/cotton blend tshirt if cost is a big issue. Using a 50/50 cotton blend tshirt vs a 100% cotton product will dramatically reduce the price per unit.

4) Remember that larger sized apparel generally costs more. If your market is solely made of of individuals who wear a size XL there may not be much you can do, but if your market can be reached with children’s sizes this might save you some cash.

5) If you’re designing your own custom t shirts or the like, keep in mind that generally, the more colors you use and the more places on the garment that you choose to embroider, screen print, or otherwise customize, the more it adds to your bottom line.

6) Before committing to a design of your own custom apparel or custom shirts, seek the advice of a professional company which specializes in customizing and screen printing clothing and other promotional items. They can help you with each step, to be sure that the final item, be it an employee or team uniform, or a promotional t-shirt, will be a professional looking design of quality craftsmanship.

3 Solutions To Help Prevent Foreclosure

Posted on October 29th, 2008 in Finance Information by Global Marketing - Internet Marketing

3 Solutions To Help Prevent Foreclosure

1. Talk to your bank as soon as you know that you are late on a payment and ask for a workout agreement. The sooner you start an open dialog with your bank the better. I know that it can feel humiliating to lay out your financial story to some stranger at a bank. But the only way that you are going to get them to help prevent foreclosure is by being honest about where you are at financially. Many banks are willing to work with you to work out some sort of arrangement so that you can keep your home. This may come in the form of a forbearance (temporarily stopping the mortgage payments), a loan modification or some other arrangement that the bank can do to help you with your current financial situation.

2. If you owe more money on your house than what it is currently worth, talk to your bank about the possibility of a short sale. If you cannot or do not want to stay in your home, a short sale may be the perfect option to help prevent foreclosure. Different banks will have different requirements so be sure to fully understand what your bank’s policies are and what paperwork you will need to provide them in order to get them to agree to a short sale.

Do not let anyone tell you that a short sale is an easy way to get out of your home. It is not. There is a lot that you need to provide to the bank, including a willing buyer, and even then they may or may not agree to a short sale. This solution is a gamble and not a sure-fire way to get out of your home. And most banks will take their own sweet time letting you know whether or not they will agree to your short sale or not.

3. Take a good hard look at your finances and see where you can cut back. There is a reason why you are in the financial predicament that you are in. It could be unavoidable life circumstances or it could be avoidable life choices. How much money are you spending on avoidable luxuries like eating out, clothing, massages, gym memberships? You can help prevent foreclosure by simply cutting back on unnecessary luxury items. You will find that it is amazing what you can live without if you really need to. Before you make a purchase, ask yourself if you would rather have that item or have your home to live in. For me, asking myself that question shed a whole new light on every single purchase that I made.

When you are looking for ways to help prevent foreclosure, you need to clearly look at and understand all of your options. There is no one perfect solution that will make everything better overnight. There will be sacrifices involved and only you can decide how far you are willing to go to save your home. How to Run a Car on Water and Get More MPG

How to Run a Car on Water and Get More MPG

If you are one of the many drivers looking for ways to get more MPG from their cars then you have probably heard stories of Hydrogen Fuel Cars and how to run a car on water. These stories may sound like something from a Sci Fi magazine but hydrogen fuel cars are nothing new. In fact not only can you buy hydrogen car kits but there are also several downloadable manuals showing you precisely how to run a car on water.

Like I said, the know how to run a car on water is nothing new and has been around for many years, but due to the present oil crisis it has had a new lease of life. Hydrogen fuel cars (or cars that run on water) are just ordinary cars which are modified with a simple device to turn a small amount of water into HHO gas (sometimes called Browns gas).

This gas does not actually power the engine, but dramatically improves the efficiency of your ordinary fuel by being mixed with it. HHO gas is produced by the process of electrolysis using the current from your cars battery. This gas is then taken into the inlet manifold where it is mixed with your regular fuel and burned in the usual way.

In a normal engine, combustion is not very efficient; this is due to the large size of fuel droplets in the mixture. When HHO gas is added the oversized fuel droplets are split into smaller ones making a much finer mixture. The resulting very fine Hydrogen enhanced fuel burns more efficiently and powerfully, allowing you to get more MPG. This finer fuel mixture is said to be 3 times more powerful than ordinary gasoline.

Very little water is actually used for this process, about a quart of water is sufficient to provide up-to 1800 gallons of HHO gas. This can literally last for months allowing you to get more MPG as well as lowering exhaust emissions. It is also claimed that where Hydrogen fuel cars burn more cleanly they reduce the carbon build up in your engine, so increasing its running life.

There are several Hydrogen car kits available with a price tag of around $200, there are also many downloadable manuals and guides that give you all the information you need to make your own Hydrogen Generator. These step by step guides tell you how to obtain all the parts needed from local garages or Auto stores, and how to put them together easily with just a couple of hours work. This way you are getting the same result as the Hydrogen car kits but a lot cheaper.

Discover for yourself how to run a car on water and get more MPG with simple Step-By-Step guides to show you how. http://www.MoreGasMPG.com/
