Effective Rules for Article Marketing Success!

Article marketing is the act of writing articles and publishing them online (usually through an article directory or distribution site) to increase Web exposure, search engine ranking and website traffic. Here are seven “rules” to help you get the most out of your article marketing program. Your articles must be your original work.

Article distribution sites require that any work you submit be your own. In other words, no plagiarism. But that’s just one reason of many to create your own content. Aside from being the right thing to do, creating original articles will help you position yourself as an authority in your field. Your articles must be well written. This does not mean your articles have to be literary masterpieces. It means your articles should be logically structured and easily readable, with proper grammar and spelling. In truth, article distribution sites will publish your articles as long as they meet some basic criteria for length and formatting. But they won’t check your article for spelling, or to make sure it’s well written. You’ll have to do that, and it’s vital that you do. Your articles will take on a life of their own after you submit them. They could pop up all over the Web (actually, that’s the idea) you can visit www.article-writing-secret.com and the last thing you want is a poorly written article circulating on the Web for months.

That will do you more harm than good. Your articles must be helpful.
The articles that do the best for article marketing — the articles that enjoy plenty of reprint and exposure — are the articles that genuinely help readers. The Internet is choked with what I like to call “fluff” articles. Fluff articles are general to a fault. They don’t offer any meat, any specific or helpful content. Avoid fluff articles. You can help your articles rise to the top by making them helpful. This article is helpful because I’m showing you specific tactics to help you achieve something. I’m not just telling you what article marketing is? I’m showing you, in detail, how to use article marketing for your own purposes. That’s what you should strive to do with your articles. Your articles must be relevant to your services. If your articles adhere to all the other rules but are not related to your product or service, they won’t help you grow your business. You could write a well crafted, helpful article about home stereo systems, and it might get a lot of circulation and republication. But if you sell audio equipment for cars, you’ve given readers no reason to contact you about it. So make sure your articles relate to your product or service in some way. Your articles must point to your website. One of article marketing’s main objectives is to steer qualified prospects to your website.

Another objective is to increase your website’s search engine ranking. To support both of these objectives, you’ll need to include a link to your website at the end of each article. If you don’t have a website or bog, pointing to an email address is the next best thing or goes to www.ezines-success.com but I recommend getting a website before you begin an article marketing program. Your articles must give the reader a reason to take further action. Educating your prospects is important. But the end goal of article marketing is to get them to act. You want them to visit your website, subscribe to your newsletter, download something, or contact you directly. So each article must have a properly constructed call-to-action at the end of it. You must submit new articles on a regular basis. Believe it or not, it’s possible to submit just one article and see an increase in website traffic, and possibly even acquire a new customer. But to capitalize on everything article marketing has to offer, you should make it a regular part of your business. The point of article marketing is to produce a steady stream of well-written, helpful articles. So create a schedule for yourself. My schedule is to submit one article per week in three different categories. Maybe for starters your goal will be two articles per month (though I advise more). Article marketing is not a one-shot deal? The more articles the better!

Internet Marketing Services Now More than Ever

Posted on December 17th, 2008 in Internet Marketing by Global Marketing - Internet Marketing

Internet Marketing Services … Now More than Ever

At the time of this writing, the country is facing real and growing fear … on Wall Street and on Main Street. The Congress, without shame, has passed the bailout plan along with a whole bunch of pork. In other words to get enough votes, individual members of Congress traded their “conviction” for their pet projects designed to do what … get more votes and insure their own political longevity. This is Democracy?

Including the effects of inflation, the Dow Jones Industrial Average is at least 20% below where it was 10 years ago! We will see layoffs in the 6 figures for many months now and we’ll probably see unemployment rates north of 7%.

So what can you do? I say control those things that you and only you can control; your business and for the purposes of this writing your online business.

Pay even closer attention to your business. Analyze all areas of your business. Don’t cut cost just for the sake of cutting costs. Concentrate on efficiency … getting more done with less! Through careful analysis you can always increase your efficiency and productivity in all areas of your business … sales, marketing, customer service, finance and accounting, manufacturing, research and development.

Consider your marketing approach. What’s more efficient … (1) Using the traditional media, print ads, direct mail, cold calling, telemarketing OR (2) internet marketing including SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and Paid Search or PPC?

1. The former involves “coming at the potential customer” almost always when not welcome. These methods are considered wildly successful if just a success rate of 1 in 200 is achieved … not very efficient or cost effective.

2. The latter involves the targeted visibility achieved through Google, Yahoo and the rest where the potential customer initiates the contact at a time and place of their choosing. They are ready when they decide to search for your products and services. Predictably, the success rate is much higher than, sometimes as high as 15-20% if your website is easily found and is further optimized for converting the visitor.

Being found by those potential clients and buyers at precisely the time and place of their choosing … where else in the world can you more efficiently get the highest quality, the most qualified new business? While traditional advertising uses a wide and inefficient net to hopefully reach the right buyer mainly by the math of a tiny percentage of the market that will see your ad, open your mail, answer your phone call at precisely the time they are interested and ready to actually act, Internet Marketing is targeted and Search Engine Visibility in the organic or natural listings is only seen by the buyer when they want to see you. How many times have you called on a prospect or advertised traditionally where the buyer says “I’m amazed, I was just about to call you” … very rare, indeed. ALL searches that find you on the search is amazing in that you are being found exactly when it is “at the top of their list” of things to do.

So, if you find that your marketing dollars are restricted and therefore more precious than ever, you need to make the most out of every marketing dollar. So cut the inefficiency of traditional advertising and focus your marketing dollars on targeted traffic through the power of the internet and specifically the search engines.

My message: In these troubled times, the best investment you can make is in yourself and in your business. Focus on efficiency and productivity to maximize your profitability. Yes, cut costs where you can; but stay on offense more than on defense.

Article Marketing Is Not A New Method

Posted on December 17th, 2008 in Internet Marketing by Global Marketing - Internet Marketing

Article Marketing Is Not A New Method

Article marketing is not a new method for SEO. The article marketing strategy started around 2005, and since then has grown exponentially, where general and category specific directories are growing rapidly with the added ability of providing content and free advertising for website owners.

Article marketing is said to be one of the best and most certainly, cost effective way to reach a specifically targeted customer base. It is one of the most widely used SEO solution and it is pretty easy to write a successful 400 word article just by following a few simple techniques. This type of marketing can increase your chance of getting higher SE listings just by linking you to articles relating to your keywords.

Writing your own articles and submitting to directories is one of the most effective ways to get targeted customers to your web site. Writing and publishing them on your own will be free advertising, as opposed to paying for PPC Advertising and the more articles you submit means the more links and traffic you will get. Writing and submitting articles is now recognized as one of the most effective ways of driving targeted traffic to your web site.

As in traditional forms of media advertising, article marketing has served two roles of providing webmasters with free content and advertisers with free advertising. If you submit your articles to directories the SE’s may think that where the articles first appear, is the owner of the content. Another option is to offer your articles as exclusive content to a website that has a high PR which in turn can raise the PR score of your site. If other web sites post your article, you will get a valuable high PR one-way link.

Article marketing is well known as a white hat way to get noticed by the search engines and reach a target market. You will learn a lot about Marketing Articles just from reading Articles. If you don’t have the time, or motivation to do this type of marketing yourself you will need to find a reputable company marketing experience.

5 Steps to Creating Your First Ebook

Creating your first ebook can be a daunting task. As you begin, it looks like an impossible task. But it doesn’t have to be that difficult. There are techniques that can make the job very manageable.

First of all, you should get back to basics. Do one step at a time. And don’t try to finish the entire project in two or three days, take your time and do it right. Break your ebook up into a number of little mini tasks.

1. Make a list of everything that you might want to cover. Don’t leave anything out, even include items that you May want in your ebook or visit www.allfreereports.com. This task should take you a couple of hours.

2. Organize this list into an outline. Make sure the outline is organized chronologically in the order you want it to appear in your ebook. This task could take an hour.

3. Do all of your research at once. Take lots of notes and write everything down in your own words. Never copy anything word for word, it is illegal to copy someone else’s work and could get you into serious trouble. Doing a thorough job of research could take you up to four hours.

4. Put together a table of contents. Make sure that everything flows in a logical order. A good table of contents should not take more than fifteen minutes if you organized your outline well.

5. Write out each chapter starting with chapter 1. Work on one chapter at a time. After you have completed it, move on to the next chapter. Make sure that you use a good spelling and grammar checker on each chapter you complete o on www.ebook-marketing-exposed.com. Depending on the length, you can finish a chapter in two or three hours if you have a detailed outline.

6. After you have finished writing all of the chapters, do a careful and slow proofreading of the ebook. Your spelling check will see the word kit as being spelled correctly, even though you intended to write the word knit. Only a slow and careful reading will catch this type of mistake. This could take you 30 minutes, depending on the length.

7. To finish, assemble all of your material into your ebook. This should take no more than 15 minutes.
