Visiting Panama without seeing the Panama Canal is like going to China and not seeing the great wall. Watching the bulky vessels navigate through the locks is very impressive, and prompts us to wonder what these ships are carrying and how many of our own possessions have traveled through the canal on their journey to the store shelves and eventually into our homes.
