Mattress Sizes – What’s Right For You?

Making sure that you have the right mattress size is critical.

A mattress that’s too large can be a waste of money and space, while a mattress that’s too small can be uncomfortable for you and wear faster than normal.

Below are the different sizes of mattresses and some comments about who should consider the size.

Mini Single — 30×75 in (76.2×191 cm). This size can be good for a child to early teen.

Twin/Single — 38×75 in (96×191 cm). This size can accommodate an average sized adult or large child.

Twin/Single XL — 38×80 in (96×203 cm). A good size for a slightly taller than average adult or large child.

Double/Full — 53×75 in (135×191 cm). Appropriate for an average to somewhat large adult,
